Description
*Looking to move April/May, not available for immediately available*
Hello! I'm a 32-year-old male currently working in central London as a civil servant. 👨💼🏙️
I'm ex army 💂♀️, having left about a year ago, which has instilled in values and standards I can’t get away from now! Very respectable and trustworthy person. Always clean and tiny and pretty used to living in a share accommodation from my time in the Army.
But don’t get me wrong I’m by no means I’m not a ‘all work no play type’ I’m friendly and easy to get on with. 😛
I have recently started a new job and career in the civil service. Which resulted me moving to London.
I am currently in East London but for the job it’s proving to be a bit of the wrong location for me.
I have a car that I can use to commute to work but currently do not have parking for it at my current flat.
So unless prospective places are within a stones throw of Whitehall I definitely need parking. Happy with East London just parking would be a game changer for me.
But also somewhere that has great transport links into central London as I am a massive theatre nerd and would love to still be as accessible to do that as possible. (I don’t want much do I?) 😅
Somewhere West would be perfect but not extremely picky.
My job isn’t set in traditional hours it can vary quite a bit. I’d say I mostly work days at the moment but can change. There are a few occasional days where I WFH but they are rare.
Mostly is a location based Monday to Friday job.
When I'm not busy with work, you'll often find me in central London. As a massive, sometimes obsessive theatre fan I routinely spend a lot of time traveling to London to see a variety of different shows, anything from musicals to plays and even operas.
🎭🎭🎟️🎼🎹🎻
But love a chilled night in too.
I can also come with Lego too, I have a few pieces that are currently gracing my parent’s house as I don’t have anywhere for them at the moment. So if you like the idea of one or two Lego sets on display then I’m your man. My favourite I own is the Lego grand piano. But not a deal breaker if not!
I’m easily adaptable to my surroundings, can be sociable and also do my own thing too. It’s all about balance. Any other theatre fans out there I think we’d get on well! I’m part of the LGBT community and very LGBT friendly.
My other interests are;
Philosophy
Music
Photography
Cinema
TV, love a good binge
Gaming, when I can find the time.
Gigs
Pubs
Travel
Whisky
Coffee!
Alcohol in general, trying my hand at cocktails lately.
Keeping active and healthy, Gym taken a backseat after leaving the Army and my current job became all consuming so very keen to get back to it when I have more time on my hands.
I am looking for anything available that you might have coming up. I am keen to move out of my current place and luckily have a break clause. So it’s just a matter of finding somewhere new and juggling finding a replacement for my own room. But would not be an issue if the right place became available. The monthly rent I’ve put on here is a ballpark figure. I could go up for the right room.
Look forward to hearing from everyone.
Regards,
Matt
