Double/Large Room Needed

Hi my name is Kieran, I am a FurDad to Athena and Aurora. Athena is a 22 month old Staff mix and Aurora is a kitten, that’s about as much as I know. I was never a cat person and I won’t even lie I am still not a cat person but I hate leaving Athena alone and she used to be part of a pack with her mum and nephew so when I saw Aurora and her markings being so close to Athena it was a done deal. They get on so well and so far Aurora is a house cat and I don’t plan on letting her out anytime soon. Athena is very well trained and is currently in the stage where she is such a good girl maturing so well and also still feels like she’s a puppy and wants to play and give out cuddles all day.

I have just started a new job in Didsbury so I want to make sure my commute (it’s dog friendly so once I’m settled our commute) isn’t too much effort each day. I will be looking for something for at least 6 months; ideally looking to find somewhere on my own in time so for now I just want to find a Houseshare that is welcoming and friendly.

I will be able to move after the 30th of this month, preferably on or after 6th September.

At the moment my budget is around £500-600 a month preferably as much inclusive as possible but obviously I know sometimes bills can fluctuate. This is likely to be higher but I won’t lie I didn’t get a better job just to spend more money on rent so my ideal property would be close enough to cycle to didsbury, dog/cat friendly (they both stay in my room with me anyway so they won’t take up much space and I handle all aspects of cleaning them), as budget friendly as possible, in a safe, clean and calm environment. I feel like I can get on with anyone and have lived in many houseshares so I don’t mind mingling and I am always more than happy to relax alone with my fur babies in my room. A garden, large room, en-suite etc would be huge bonuses.

I’ve actually always loved the idea of living in a loft or basement; I can’t quite explain why but if you have either definitely let me know!

A little about me I enjoy hip hop, comedies, marvel films and I am studying to hopefully become a dog trainer one day through the Centre of Excellence, most of my time is spent working or walking Athena. I do make music but haven’t had as much time recently but hopefully that will change when I get back into a good routine.

I do smoke but I’m happy to do this outside.

For any buddy ups I’ve never tried to use this feature before but I am kind of broke til the end of the month but I’m more than happy to go on a walk with Athena instead of a coffee and we can chat about budgets and look through any whole properties! If I got to pick my ultimate housemates they would be passionate about art and being creative; obviously I love other musicians but I think anyone creative would be cool. I’d like to get back into the gym so perhaps a gym buddy, or someone to tag along on our walks. I’m not a big drinker but I’ve worked in bars for years so I can definitely become the life of the party and shake it up with some amazing cocktails as well.
