Mature Student & new to Glasgow

Hi!

I am 36, and moved to Glasgow (from Manchester) a little while ago. I'm at the end of my MSc, which finishes in April.

Ideally looking for somewhere battlefield/shawlands/strathbungo etc with some friendly folk. I'm not in a rush to move at all, I live in a one bed flat at the minute that's pretty great but looking for something cheaper. I spend half my time at my partners flat but not ready to give up my own space yet!

In Manchester I worked across the arts and social care sector and I've been working in the arts for the whole of my twenties, so this is very much a career shift.

I'm friendly, sociable, creative, left leaning. I've been in Manchester for ten years now, but also lived in the Netherlands for two years in the middle of that, so I'm not unaccustomed to starting afresh.

I like cooking (especially for other people !) Reading, swimming, dancing, hiking and all the usual pass times...
