Moving to Glasgow in July

Hi, I'm Ashley. I'm moving from Australia to Glasgow on July 15 2024. I'm a writer and I'm looking to start my career in journalism. I'm sociable and I'm fine with the occasional party but I would prefer living arrangements that are on the quieter side. I want to see all the sights I can, enjoy the city, and make a good start living in Scotland.

I've lived in a house share before, I know that I will be neat and tidy.

I don't expect you to hold my hand, but I would love to share with people who are willing to help me out if I have questions about living in a new country.

I've found a place for July and August but I'm still looking for something for the long term. My max budget including bills is around 700-750. I'm looking for places in the West End or City Centre although if you have somewhere cheaper available outside of these areas I would love to hear from you.
