Buddy-up with outdoorsy, active professional (30s)

Hey, I’m Cait, 33, and I’m looking to buddy up with someone that wants to find a nice 2 bed just outside of London.

I've lived in Balham / Tooting / Wimbledon for the last 10 years, which has been great, but now spend a lot of my time doing outdoors stuff so would like to be closer to the countryside, still with good access to London.

Areas I'm looking at include - Surrey (Guildford, Reigate, Oxted), South West London (Richmond, Kingston upon Thames, Thames Ditton, Hampton), or potentially around Oxford or Reading.

I’d love to live with someone who enjoys an active, healthy way of life too - whether that’s the gym, yoga, running, sport, or just spending time outdoors. I tend to structure my days around work, training, and getting outside where possible, and I’m keen for a home that supports that kind of balanced routine rather than revolving around late night boozy weekends. With that said, I do go on the occasional night out but not as much as I used to!

Now I’m in my 30s, I like home to feel calm and considered rather than cluttered and chaotic - nice interiors, good lighting, plants etc. I’m a big fan of doing a quick daily reset so things don’t pile up. I’m very relaxed and realistic about busy days though - it’s more about being on the same wavelength around tidiness ☺️.

I work freelance in TV commercials production, usually on 2–3 week contracts. Between jobs, I’m currently launching a food business. Weekdays are generally quite calm - early mornings for training, busy workdays, and relaxed evenings cooking, reading, or watching something. I’ll often head to the pub for a drink towards the end of the week and happy to do that with a housemate too.

Last year I completed my first sprint triathlon and absolutely loved it, so fitness is a big part of my routine. I also enjoy hiking, surfing, running, and generally being outdoors - especially if it ends with a pint in a sunny beer garden or a country pub.

I love adventure travel and always have a list of trips on the go. A highlight so far was white-water rafting in Uganda, and Jordan and South America are high on my list next. I grew up horse riding and, while I don’t get to do it as often these days, it’s still something I really love. Big dog lover too.

I’m sociable, friendly, and easy to live with, but also really value personal space to chill and independence. I’m often out and about and would ideally like to live with someone who has their own social life and routine. That said, I’m very happy sharing meals, walks, a glass of wine in the eve or watching a film.

TV-wise, I’m a big fan of Somebody Feed Phil, Below Deck, surf and adventure documentaries, The Handmaid’s Tale, The White Lotus, Game of Thrones, and anything space-related.

For ease, as everyone's so busy these days, I’d like to have a cleaner every 4-6 weeks, so it would be great if you're open to that too.
