Postgrad student seeking friendly, chilled house

Hello, I am starting a PhD at UoB at the end of September. I would ideally like to stay in one place for at least a year, or longer if it suits me. I'd like to live in a spacious, clean flat or house with friendly easy going housemates. I love going out to pubs / restaurants etc and socialising but also like staying in and cooking, and time by myself too, so flatmates similar to this would be ideal! I won't know many people when I move so would be great to live with people who are open to being friends :)
