Looking for a room in West London

Hi, my name is Arundhati, but people usually call me Aru. I’m 28 and work as a Transport Planner for a local council. I’m looking for a double room in a clean, calm and respectful home from around mid to late September.

My budget is around £850 per month, bills included.

I’m mainly looking around Ealing, Acton, Hammersmith, Chiswick or West London in general, ideally somewhere with good tube links towards Central London and around West London.

I work on a hybrid basis, so I split my time between working from home and going into the office. Because of this, I’m looking for a home where working from home would be comfortable and where the household is generally calm and respectful.

I’m tidy and considerate, and mindful of shared spaces, noise and other people’s routines. I’m not looking for a party house, but I would still like to live with friendly, kind and easy-going people who are happy to have a chat, watch a film, share an occasional meal or simply help make the house feel homely. I enjoy a friendly home, but I also value my own space and some quiet time every now and then.

I would ideally prefer a women-only household and a smaller home, with no more than 3 occupants in total, including me.

Outside work, I enjoy nature, hiking, painting, watching movies and travelling. I love animals, so if you have a pet, that would be a lovely bonus! :)
A garden/balcony/some outdoor space would also be another added bonus, but it’s not essential.

I’m also open to buddying up with like-minded women to find a nice place together in West London.

I’m currently away until early August, but I’m happy to message and have a chat before then, and can do in-person viewings from 3 August onwards.
