Friendly professional looking for a sunny room

Hi! I’m a Mexican research professional in my 30s looking for a bright, sunny room in North or East London (Islington, Hackney, Bethnal Green, Stratford, Highbury — and open to other well-connected areas depending on the flat and room size).

I work full-time in research and policy in a permanent role, and I’m happy to provide references. I mostly work from home and go into the office once or twice a week.

I’m looking for a calm, respectful home rather than a party flat. I value my privacy, but I also enjoy occasional chats, sharing a meal, or having a glass of wine together from time to time.

One thing that’s important to me is having a proper shared space — somewhere to eat outside my bedroom. A dining room, living room, or even just a proper table where we can sit down for meals would mean a lot. I’ve seen many flats that only have a small kitchen with no table or communal area, and I’d really love a home that feels a bit more shared and lived-in.

I’m clean, responsible, and very used to sharing. I enjoy cooking and always keep shared spaces tidy and pleasant for everyone.
