Helloo, I'm Evelyn, I’m trans, & looking for a room/buddy up in a (hopefully) welcoming space. LGBTQ+ friendly is non-negotiable, just aiming for good vibes :)

A little about me; I'm sociable & do value making meaningful connections, but also very much appreciate when you just want your own space/alone time. I like to be neat and tidy, so having a clean living space is v important. I appreciate having my own space to recharge & unwind after work, but also down to hangout from time to time for meals/movies/whatever!

Professionally, I'm a medical anthropologist currently working in cancer research with UCL. As my work is tied to project funding I’ve bounced around a few different universities as well as government departments & the NHS, so anyone else working in research knows my pain. My work is usually a mix of in-office most of the time with some WFH.

In my spare time I like most things creative, though it definitely depends on my energy levels. I really enjoy writing what I’m sure is terrible poetry, primary school level painting, and trying out various arts and crafts projects. Also a big DnD fan so have a space in my heart for everything nerdy. While I'm not one for big nights out, I do enjoy relaxed pub or bar trips on the weekends. On weekdays I prefer staying in cooking, reading & wasting too much time on Overwatch.

What I'm hoping to find is a room/buddy up in a place where people are kind and good at communicating. I’m pretty loosey goosey so if you’re considerate of others in communal living we’ll get along great! & i'm happy with any pets that might be around :)
