Postdoc seeking a quiet room (from 14 Oct)

Hi there,

I'm a postdoctoral researcher joining the University of Cambridge for 9 months, starting on 15 Oct 2025 (with the possibility of extension).

I'm looking for a quiet, tidy room to call home, ideally within cycling distance of the university and city centre.

After long days in the lab, I appreciate a calm space to rest and occasionally work from home, so a room with a desk and chair would be perfect. You'll find me to be a respectful, clean, and considerate housemate. I'm quiet and focused, and I'll be spending most of my time dedicated to my research.

I have extensive experience with house-sharing (both as a tenant and a landlord), so I understand the importance of clear communication and respecting a shared home.

I have friends locally who would be happy to meet you for a viewing on my behalf or provide a character reference.
