Looking for a Room in Birmingham!

Hi, I’m Hriday Grover, 28, and I’ll be moving to Birmingham in September 2026 to start my PhD alongside my role as an Associate Professor. I’m currently looking for a room to rent and some friendly people to live with!

A bit about me:

I’m easy-going, sociable, and very tidy. I enjoy a good coffee, exploring new places, going out with friends, and discovering great food spots around the city. I like having a good chat and getting to know the people I live with, but I also respect personal space and downtime.

I’m responsible, clean, and considerate when it comes to shared living, and I’m hoping to find a house or flat that feels welcoming and comfortable.

What I’m ideally looking for:

* Clean and tidy housemates
* Friendly and sociable atmosphere
* A comfortable and well-maintained home
* Respectful people who value both socialising and personal space
* An en-suite would be a bonus, but not essential

As I’ll be balancing a PhD and an academic role, I appreciate a peaceful and respectful home environment. At the same time, I’d love to live with people who enjoy the occasional coffee trip, meal out, or weekend catch-up.
