New room, new home

Recently moved to London and living in Stoke Newington with a flatmate in her forties, but looking for a new place with somebody (30s-40s) who likes to keep shared spaces clean, tidy and welcoming or decorated.
(Also open to the right lodger and/or acceptable size furnished studios).
Up for meeting someone and renting a flat together.

Doctor by trade, working shifts in a couple of hospitals and following a couple of courses on the side (Global Health, Humanitarian Medicine, Psychology) –so at the library often. Arts person at heart, looking for a space I could use as a base to give time to my passions (mostly around dancing, writing, music, fashion and the stage) and exploring options about a career shift.

Originally from Spain, spent time living in (and loving) Paris and Edinburgh. Fluent in Spanish, French and English, on & off trying to refresh my German and maybe get back again into Arabic (or Swahili, or Italian, Catalan or Portuguese). I have been living in the U. K. for the past 4 years, planning on staying here for at least a few more.

Enjoy sharing a cuppa and the occasional meal or dinner, chats, walks and time out –while also needing & enjoying time on my own.

Anti-imperialism, social inequalities, degrowth, sustainability, often on my mind.
Queer or gender-questioning spaces are a plus, but not a need.
Open to house shares that become friendships. With a flatmate, looking for a home, not just a room.
(The right lodger could also be a good match).
