Guy and potential furry house mascot?

My name is Sean, I'm looking for a new home for me and my buddy Hachi.
To me, type of property and housemates are more important than location due to me having Hachi, a car and bicycle and being partial to some social activities.

However I currently work near Stratford so ideally looking that way into Essex areas.

I am conscious of the extra cleaning even a small dog can require so would keep on top of this myself or pay a cleaner, whichever works with the house.

Now looking to move February/March (flexible) and open to short or long term depending on price and suitability of property.
Me: I'm an English fella, 33years old, grew up in Kent and have now worked and lived mostly in London for 5 years. I have a full time job working in Engineering in the Rail sector.
I always try to be considerate of living with others and keep things tidy when I can. I enjoy social housemates but also keep myself to myself sometimes and I am very into my hobbies of cycling, cars and enjoy pubs, walks and nights out etc.
I mostly like to view places and get to chat and meet people and go from there!
Hachi: This little guy is a quite small (11kg's) Shiba Inu. He is well behaved and as he is a smart dog so he can take time to get used to people, but has even convinced people who are afraid of dogs to pet him and get along due to his good manners.
He has already lived with different people and as he is very proud of his 'territory' he doesn't damage anything or cause a mess.
