Kiwi looking for a new home

Hi there!

My name is Michael (he/him) - I'm a 32 year old Kiwi looking for a new home in London! A little bit about me:
- I'm currently working as a government lawyer, so am able to write sternly worded WhatsApp (and possibly wrong) messages to landlords if need be.
- In my spare time I enjoy playing music (badly but with enthusiasm), injuring myself while exercising and re-reading the Da Vinci Code.
- I have lived in shared houses for 14 years (including queer friendly houses) and know the drill about respecting privacy and looking after communal spaces.

I am looking for a social flat where people are keen to spend time together and make the space a home - not just a house. We spend a lot of time in our living situations and I would much rather that time be communal and fun, particularly given how big London can feel sometimes. That being said, I appreciate everyone needs downtime, and don't expect (or want) 24/7 socialising.

A few logistical details:
- My ideal move-in date would be mid-May, but I can be fairly flexible for the right place.
- I have family in North London - my ideal locations are Islington/Highbury/Finsbury Park, but am open to options further east and west (and slightly south).
- My work is hybrid, so am looking for a room with space for a double bed and a desk.
- Looking for somewhere with at least 2-5 other flatmates (preference 3-4 others)
