Description
Heyyy!! 🫶🏽
My name is Noni, I’m 21 and I’m about to go into my final year as an undergrad at LSE after a year studying abroad at UCLA 🇺🇸
Honestly, I never thought I’d be looking for a flatmate again 😭 I had a pretty bad experience with flatmates a few years ago and had planned to live with my friends for my final year. However, after unexpectedly getting into my dream university for study abroad, I now find myself graduating a year after all of my friends 💔 Sooo here I am!
I’m looking to move between the end of August and the end of September, but I’m really hoping to get something sorted ASAP because the whole flat search is stressing me out 😭
A little bit about me! I study Social Policy at LSE and I’m currently looking into studying Law for my Masters. I was born in Bristol, England, but I’ve lived in nine cities across three continents, so I never really know how to answer the question “where are you from?” 😆
I absolutely love travelling and a sidequest… I also play lots of sports, including netball, hockey and tennis, and I’m involved in quite a few societies at uni. I work some evenings as a swimming teacher too, so I definitely won’t be around 24/7.
I’m really trying to make the most of being in London this year, especially because there’s a very slim chance I’ll stay here after I graduate! I love trying new restaurants, finding cute coffee shops, exploring different parts of London and generally saying yes to sidequests.
I’d love a flatmate who genuinely becomes a friend rather than just someone I happen to share rent with, as happened before 😢. I’d love someone who wants to do fun things together, explore London, go for dinner, occasionally host at ours, have a little evening chat and generally make the most of living together 🥰
I’d also love someone who is chill with having my family from out of town visit every so often, as well as friends who live abroad coming to stay occasionally. Obviously I’d always be respectful and give plenty of notice!
At the same time, I completely understand the importance of having your own downtime and space, and I’d want us both to feel comfortable doing our own thing. I like things to be clean and relatively tidy, but I’m definitely not a clean freak. I completely understand that sometimes life gets busy and things get messy! I’m just looking for someone equally chilled who respects the shared space.
My budget is around £1,500 to £1,700 pcm, although I have a little flexibility for the perfect place. Ideally, I’d like to be within around a 30 minute walk of LSE.
I’m open to living with either a student or young professional around my age. The main thing is that we get along and have a similar idea of what makes a good home 🫶🏽
If you think we could be a good fit, please message me! I’m making lots of enquiries about places right now and would ideally love to have something signed by the end of this week, Sunday 23rd August, so I can finally stop stressing about it 😭
