Female Creative Looking For A Room!

Hello! I’m Mackie and I’m looking for a room in a friendly, pet-friendly home.

I’m a director, writer, actor, and teacher– and I also translate anime, manga and comic books for a Mexican Company. I'm currently completing a part-time MA in Filmmaking at Raindance Film School! I was born and raised in Mexico City (Spanish is my first language) and moved to the UK in 2020 to pursue a career in film and theatre. I trained at drama school in Cardiff from 2020–2023 and have been London-based for 2 years.

I have one small indoor cat, Artemis (Arty)— genuinely the friendliest, calmest little soul. She’s lived in rented flats for the past five years and has never caused any damage or issues (I know “friendly cat” is a bold claim to some, but I got very lucky 🐈).

Outside of work, I love film and theatre (especially horror and fantasy), reading (Murakami fans welcome), board games, long walks, yoga, and staying active. I’m a queer woman, so an LGBTQ+ friendly household is important to me. My partner visits occasionally, but she doesn’t live in London and stays are infrequent.

I’m ideally looking for a place that’s well-connected, safe, and tidy. I’m not a party person– think friendly introvert: respectful, clean, and easy to live with. I enjoy the occasional chat or shared meal with flatmates, but I’m equally happy with independent living. I don’t smoke, drink only socially, and I’m very considerate of shared spaces.
