Looking for room around Waterloo / Ele & Castle

Hi, I'm Jay! I'm a 32-year-old software developer from Australia, who's moved to London to try and tackle one of the world's most pressing problems. I'm looking for a long-term lease (6+ months) to move into in mid-November - ideally November 17, but I can delay a week or two for the right place.

I currently work at the AI Safety Institute in Westminster, and I have a partner in northeast London (Woodford), so I'd like to find somewhere that balances both these locations :) I was originally looking at Whitechapel / Mile End, but I think Waterloo and Elephant and Castle also both fit the bill. I'd like a place as close to Westminster as possible while still within 45 mins of Woodford.

In terms of personality, I largely keep to myself, though am happy to be drawn out :) I enjoy reading, crosswords, games (both computer and board) and learning new skills - recently it's been bouldering!

Something that may be a downside but is worth stating up front is that I do have a partner who I like to have over, and I am polyamorous - meaning that both I and she are able to have other partners. I'm far too busy with work and such to be dating tons of people, but I do want to have my current partner over regularly and may find myself dating someone else at some point. So it'd be cool if you were okay with my having guests over a couple of times a week, and didn't have some sort of principled objection to this kind of thing.
