Long-term double room wanted for May or June

Hello! My name is Kayla, I’m an American who has been living in the UK since 2018. I’m a 24-year old professional, I recently got a job in Sutton so I’m currently looking to move closer to the area. I’d be looking to move around May-June!

I’m a huge music lover. I play bass, some guitar and occasionally write songs. I’m also involved in music journalism and volunteer artist liaison work, so I’m at gigs very often (+1s to gigs, record player & decent record collection included!) I’m also very big on art, I love painting and trying out different crafts! Recently I’ve been trying to get more into crochet.

I enjoy days out in nature, at a gallery, the cinema, or to try out a new restaurant. I also roller skate a lot when the weather allows for it. My boyfriend lives in Essex so at the moment I typically spend weekends there, but he sometimes spends a few nights with me depending on our schedules. But when I am home, I might be found reading a book, writing, watching a series/film or painting. However I’m always up for a chat!

I am a vegetarian, I love cooking and baking and I always make enough to share. I’m a huge animal lover, so it would be amazing to be in a house with pets but nothing mandatory. I really love spaces that feel cosy, homely and quirky, I’d love to be able to really settle and make a place feel a little more like a sanctuary, so long-term rents are preferred. Really interested in warehouse spaces as well.
