Starting My Professional Life in London

Dear Future Landlord,

I am a Researcher at the Mo Ibrahim Foundation – a think tank preparing African governance scores that hold governments accountable for inefficiencies in public service delivery, and advance priorities for Africa’s development in the global development agenda. I am responsible for preparing human development scores in the realm of Education, Climate Change, Public Health, and Social Protection.

My previous work was in multidisciplinary policy research, project management, and consultancy roles operating within multi-cultural teams, with structured and unstructured hierarchies.

I possess competent cognitive and socio-emotional skills useful for forming a joyous household. My cognitive skills entail a good understanding of complex ideas, adapting effectively to new environments, learning from experience, and reasoning. These have been crafted from my good composure of numeracy, literacy, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills. For effective navigation of household interpersonal and social situations, my social-emotional skills of leadership, teamwork, self-control, and grit adds on to community competencies.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out on social occasions, hiking, playing soccer, cycling and going to festivals.
