Coming to LDN to do field research in music!

Hi everyone! I'm Robin, and I am currently finishing my masters in psychology in Vienna, Austria. For my thesis, I am doing field research with a London based leftist folk music collective! I'm generally really interested in getting insight into any alternative cultural scenes while I'm here, but frankly I'm grateful if I find any small room that I can afford for 2-3 months (more on the timing later), so while I would prefer a flat that is also a shared space socially, I am also happy with e. g. live-in landlords or shared flats without much interaction, as long as things are still harmonious. Socially, I think I will often be very excited to meet and befriend new people, but can also go into lone wolf mode for some phases. In any case, I am very open towards explicitly and constructively communicating about the cohabiting relationships, and if we happen to share some interests and attitudes I will be really happy to befriend my flatmates! I'm leaving a flat of two good friends behind in Austria, so I am used to things being really familial.

Concerning tidiness, I would say in shared rooms I'm used to small (!) amounts of everyday chaos, but would be happy to accommodate higher standards than that as well, and I would very much value sharing household chores in some way that works for everyone.

Things I am interested in would include: music (experimental, pop if its good (also hyperpop!!), clubby things if they are crazy, baroque, noise, folk ofc), social and human science topics (sociology, politics), people!! connecting to people in respectful and transparent ways is fun and gives me life!, many other arts things (movies, books, whatever's good), generally also really nature and sports but I'm not too strong with those these days.

I would really like to live in a mixed gender place, but if I find a nice place with just straight cis dudes like myself in the end, I would very much appreciate if the vibes are still feminist and queer-friendly, not just for ideological reasons but also because I would like to be able to play around with my own gender expression and feel comfortable about that in my temporary home :)

About the time: Ideally I would move in from mid August to end of October, but I have serious wiggle room there if you are searching for a slightly different timespan.
