Kiwi student looking for a room

I am a 21yo trainee saddler (amongst a few other related things) from New Zealand, training in Walsall for about five months. I've lived in London for two years prior to this, so not entirely unfamiliar with UK life! Looking for a room within walking distance of the town centre.
I like to think I'm pretty easy to live with. I keep myself well occupied with the rather ambitious amount of work I'm aiming to get done this year, so I won't be hanging around loads but I'm always up for a chat or quick drink if our paths cross. I'm busy, not anti-social!
Tidy common areas are important to me - I'm no neat freak and won't get upset about a single plate left out, but you won't catch me ignoring an overflowing bin bag.
I don't have a long list of requirements but I would prefer to not have a live-in landlord and it would be amazing if there was a space to do some homework other than my bed. It would be nice to be in a friendly house share but I know the ideal candidate would probably be around a bit more, so I am just as happy with an arrangement where everyone keeps to themselves.
