Moving to Bristol soon!

Hi! I’m Daniel, I’m 26, and I work as a digital project manager for the NHS. I’m moving to Bristol soon, sometime around June, and I’m looking for a fun, inviting place to settle into.

A little bit about me:
- I’ve been living in the UK for about 6 years now, I’m a dual citizen of both the U. S. and Malaysia so I’m a bit of a cultural chameleon, you could say
- Personality-wise, I’m generally a pretty easygoing and laidback person. The descriptor I most often get is “chill.” I like to think that I’m quite tapped into the wider world so I love talking current affairs as well as any conversation that gets deep and introspective. I love being around people though I do need to be able to have some alone time to myself as well. Ideally we wouldn’t just be housemates that barely tolerate each other but friends who are good to one another (which is exactly what I’m looking for!)
- My greatest passions in life lie in music, film, really the arts in general. I try to fit time in for going to gigs and travelling as often as I can, also frequently enjoy a day out exploring or just enjoying a chill drink. I make music as a hobby so I’m hoping to link up with some like-minded creatives around Bristol as well!
- Job-wise, I got into my line of work out of a desire to use technology to improve the health and wellbeing of everyday people and I’ve been finding it really rewarding so far. Since my job is a hybrid role I would be planning to work from home for a large part of the week.

If it sounds like I’d be a good fit for the place, then I think a video call would be good to see if we vibe and to get a chance to have a closer look at the place (as I’m not based in Bristol yet). But if an in-person viewing is a must then it isn’t a deal breaker for me, I could always hop on the train up sometime. Here’s hoping we both find what we’re looking for!
