Relocating to Cardiff/Barry

Young professional woman looking for accommodation to up route my life to the city or the beaches close by. Actively looking to progress in my professional career and personal life, taking a leap and moving areas and changing jobs in order to do so.
I am a tidy, clean and organised individual who likes their own space but also enjoys socialising and meeting new people. I’m looking for a room in a location close to the centre of Cardiff as this is where I’m hoping to progress in my career or in a beautiful area of Barry so that I can soak up the picturesque views and beach lifestyle whilst only a drive away from the centre of Cardiff. I’m still trying to workout that balance of wanting a city life but also wanting to be a walk away from the sea.
I am a massive foodie and enjoy eating out or cooking my favourite meals. I am pescatarian just out of personal preference so have no issue with meat eaters etc.
I’m looking for a double room, with walkway space and an en-suite would be ideal, however not a deal breaker. All I really need is space for all of clothes (there’s a lot) and a spacious, clean kitchen area to prep my meals.
A typical week for me is going out to work Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am-5pm and working out most evenings either Pilates, swimming, spinning and also meeting up with my friends once a week during the week for a catch up. Weekends vary but I spend most of my time out with friends (weather permitting of course).
This will be my first time leaving the family home and I am excited to start this journey and hope that there is a suitable room out there for me to help my take this leap. This is something that I have been wanting to do for a few years but have been travelling and I’m now ready to make that commitment.
