Hello,
I am Kaja Skoftedalen, a PhD student at the University of Bergen in Norway. I am staying in Brighton for three months as a guest reseacher at the University of Sussex and I am looking for a double room to rent for the whole period from Feb 15-May 15. Easy access to campus is preferred.
I am a calm, warm and friendly 34-year-old woman interested in yoga, dancing and reading. My main goal with my stay in the UK is to work on my PhD thesis in Anthropology, but I also hope to befriend new people and learn about the local community and history.
As a housemate I like to have it tidy and clean, but I am also able to adapt to other people's habits. I am happy to share bathroom and kitchen. Although I most days will work at the Uni campus, I will need access to a workdesk/table in order to work from home when necessary.
My partner Osmund will probably visit me from Norway for a shorter period during my stay in Brighton. He is also a PhD student.
