Looking for Potential Roomies

Hello there!

I’m Chay, 33, and on the lookout for a welcoming home in a shared house or flat. My move-in date is around Mid-May, and I have a budget of £650 PCM (including bills and council tax) though I can stretch a little if the place is worth it.

For the past 2.5 years, I lived in Aberdeen, where I absolutely loved the people, the Scottish culture, and most importantly, the food. Scottish Tablet is my absolute favourite; it reminds me of home back in India. I’ve recently moved to Edinburgh for better career prospects in HR, and I’m now looking for a comfortable place to settle in.

I currently work part-time at a bookmakers, with shifts across five days a week, as I work towards securing a full-time role in HR. My schedule can vary, but I always appreciate a calm and comfortable space to come home to.

As an ambivert, I enjoy the best of both worlds, socialising over a good meal or film but also valuing my personal space. I love a night out just as much as a cosy evening in with Netflix and a tub of ice cream. Cooking is a passion of mine, and I have a keen interest in men's fashion, always keeping an eye on new trends.

I’m looking for a furnished place with housemates who are respectful, clean, and friendly, ideally professionals or mature students who enjoy a good balance of social time and independence. A home where we can share the occasional dinner, glass of wine, or chat would be lovely, but I also respect the need for downtime.

I pride myself on being tidy, responsible, and reliable when it comes to rent and bills. Shared spaces should feel comfortable and well-kept, so I appreciate housemates who value the same.
