Looking for a room in manchester

Currently looking for a double bedroom with a decent amount of space. I don't mind having shared utilities as long as others also keep it tidy. I would prefer slightly older housemates as I struggle living with people similar in age to me. Would prefer to live within a walkable distance to Manchester city centre or to have a good public transport system as I like to go out frequently.

I always make sure to clean up after myself, and to make sure my space is tidy as it helps my own headspace aswell. I am an LGBTQ+ friendly person and I don't have a problem with pets.

I am a support worker currently living with my Mother. I currently live in Todmorden, a town close to Rochdale. I would like to move out to have more independence. I am a sociable person, I enjoy other people's company and making new friends.

I don't currently drive, there aren't any plans to in the future so I will be reliant on my legs or public transport to get me around. I also enjoy cooking, and I would be willing to cook for more people some nights, however I am a vegetarian but it isn't an issue for me if other housemates aren't.

One of my favourite things is going to gigs, specifically hardcore and punk gigs, so if a housemate is also into this sort of music that would be a bonus. Partly the reason why I want to move closer to the city centre is because having to leave gigs early to catch the last train back is not ideal especially when it is something I worry about.

I use a vape, so I understand if I want to use it I will have to use it outside. I don't have any pets nor am I planning on getting any in the near future. I tend not to drink often either, only when I am going out or for special occasions usually. So you won't have to worry about me coming home in the early hours of the morning making a ruckus.
