Landlord looking to help a great tenant

Hi. I am a landlord and am having to sell our house. We have a tenant looking for a room. Let's call him Joe for now. He is originally from Afghanistan and is a great guy with great manners, impeccably clean, considerate and polite. He has been with us for around 5 years and only now is he on housing benefit having previously paid us regularly and on time whilst he was in employment. The council are willing to support him with his rent moving forward.
The council has a landlord incentive scheme and a rent and deposit scheme to help applicants find new accommodation in the private rented sector, both of which are paid direct to the landlord.

They also offer a free house inspection, £100 per room and £100 for the gas safe and EPC being in place.

They pay 5 weeks rent as a deposit and one month's rent at the beginning of the tenancy, both are paid direct to landlord.

So if you want an easy tenant who doesn't say boo to a goose please get in touch and I can liaise between you, him and the council etc. He just needs a decent, clean room so he can continue looking for work and re building his life.
