Homebuyer Seeking 3-6 Month Let - Pet friendly

I'm a clean, responsible and considerate working professional currently based in rural Cheshire. I'm originally from down south but I moved to the North 3 years ago and love it. I work in the charity sector in a partnerships role, and my current house share is coming to an end in late October after a year. I’m currently in the process of buying my first home, but as this can take time, I’m looking for a short-term place to call home while the purchase goes through.

What I'm looking for:

- 📅 Short-term let (around 3–6 months) from late October.
- 💷 Budget of up to £650 per month, including bills.
- 💻 Somewhere I can comfortably work from home, ideally with a dedicated desk or office space.
- 🏡 A home rather than just a room — ideally a calm, friendly household with a maximum of one or two other people (or a live-in landlord).
- 🌿 A garden and off-road parking would be a bonus.
- I’m ideally looking for a smaller household rather than a large house share, HMO or traditional agency-managed rental.

Ideal location:

- 🌳 Rural or semi-rural location preferred.
- 🚗 I drive, so parking is appreciated, but good transport links are also a plus.
- 🏠 I’m looking to buy in or around Sandbach, so somewhere with convenient access for property viewings would be ideal.

A little about me

- 💼 I work remotely for a national disability charity in a partnerships role and only travel to the office or work events around twice a month.
- 🧘 I enjoy yoga, cooking, countryside walks, visiting farmers’ markets and exploring nature. I love travelling, learning about different cultures and languages, and recently spent three weeks exploring Japan and Shanghai.
- 🐾 I have a quiet, gentle and well-behaved 9-year-old Greyhound called Ralphie. Greyhounds are known for being calm, quiet and low-barking dogs. He is cat-friendly and dog-friendly (currently living happily with another Greyhound and a cat), low-shedding and fully house-trained. He is very clean, respectful of shared spaces and spends most of the day asleep. Ralphie is also a registered therapy dog at our local care home, where he brings a lot of joy to residents and is a delight to be around.
- 😊 I’m friendly and enjoy the occasional pub quiz or movie night, while also respecting everyone’s privacy, personal space and downtime.
- 🧹 I’m respectful of shared spaces and pride myself on keeping a clean and tidy home.
- 🍷 I drink only occasionally, usually with a good meal, and I don’t smoke.
