Hi there, my name is Agnese, I am a PhD Philosophy researcher working in Dublin (University College Dublin), 29 years old, and I will be staying in Glasgow for 6 months as a visiting researcher in Glasgow University (Aug/September 2024 - February 2025) My working schedule is pretty independent as I'll have to be on Campus every day of the week (9-6 sort of job). Aside from circumstance, I've never been the sort of person to want to work from home, I usually need the change to be able to work properly on my writing. I've been living by myself for quite some time now with people from different cultures (India, Mongolia, France, Spain, Brasil) professions and ages. So I know how to respect people's spaces whilst creating the right balance between alone time and chats or movie-and-pizza type of nights. In my spare time, I usually like going for walks, watching movies, reading or listening to music; and I've recently learned to bake my own bread and make pizza :D when I'm particularly motivated by life I enjoy learning new languages (apart from my mother tongue and Enligsh, I know a bit German and Spanish, and I'd like to get into French ...someday). For the pet lovers out there please count me in! I’ve had several cats growing up (though I never had a dog of my own my family has often dealt with dogs) and I do miss the feeling of having a fluffy warm little friend to go pet after a day of work.
