Two young female professionals seeking buddy-ups!

Hey all, we’re Emily and Georgia, long-time besties and now housemates in our current houseshare, and we’re looking for two LGBTQ+ friendly people to buddy up with to find a four bed property preferably in north/northeast/east London for the beginning of September OR alternatively would be open to taking two rooms in an existing LGBTQ+ friendly house/flatshare. We each would have a max monthly budget of around ~£850 each without bills ideally but can be somewhat flexible on this.

Us:
Emily (25, she/her), Northerner, works full-time as a journalist in the office 2 days a week and 3 days from home. Loves going to the cinema, gigs, and Arsenal Women’s matches; looking after her plant babies (all named after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills); reading; learning languages; gymming, and playing football for a women’s football team.

Georgia (25, she/her), south Londoner, works full-time for a charity in the office 2-3 days a week and works from home the remainder of the week. Loves going to the cinema and gigs; a good party once in a while; secondhand fashion; cooking; reading, and playing football (for the same women’s football team as Emily as well as a mixed 5-aside team!).

We are both super clean and tidy and would be keen to implement a chores rota in any future home or happy to adhere to a rota in an existing house/flatshare. We’ve lived communally in shared houses and flats for many years and are both laidback and easygoing, enjoyjng socialising while also valuing alone time because city life gets tiring sometimes!

We’re looking for a friendly, sociable, calm, comfortable home where we have fun together and socialise as a house (pub trips, film nights, occasional nights out etc) while also respecting everyone’s space, energy, and time.

We’re both very much settled in London and we have our own things going on, but it would be lovely to live with likeminded people who would be open to being friends as well as housemates. We’ve made some lovely long-term friendships in our current flatshare, so it would be so nice to continue that :)
