Home sought for trainee teacher and his cat

I am searching for somewhere for me and my cat to live. Am happy to consider a wide range of possibilities, from one bed flats to large shared houses, cheap or otherwise, just somewhere where we can feel secure and welcome. I am very considerate and respectful, so safe to live with for any gender.
I generally live a quiet life. I do not drink or smoke. I enjoy cycling, reading, good conversation, and Tai Chi. I am vegan, but not argumentative, and enjoy cooking.
