Spare Room Wanted in York for 2024/2025 Academic Y

Hello! I am a postgraduate student starting my MFL PGCE in September 2024. I am looking for a comfortable and quiet spare room in York, ideally located within easy reach of the university and public transport.

Accommodation Preferences:

Room: A spacious, well-furnished single or double room with good natural light.
Facilities: Access to a shared kitchen, bathroom, parking space and living area. A desk for study purposes is highly preferred.
Amenities: High-speed internet, laundry facilities, and a secure place to store my bicycle.
Budget: Flexible, but ideally within the range of £500-£800 per month, including bills.

Ideal Housemates:

Students or Professionals: Preferably fellow postgraduate students or young professionals who value a calm and respectful living environment.
Friendly and Considerate: People who are sociable but also respect personal space and quiet time, especially during study periods.

About Me:
I am a dedicated and organised student with a strong focus on my studies. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, cooking, and exploring the city. I am tidy and responsible, always cleaning up after myself and respecting communal spaces. I enjoy socialising and would love to share occasional meals or movie nights with housemates, but I also appreciate and respect the need for personal space and quiet time.
