Queer woman seeking a room near Camden

Hey! My name is Phoenix and I'm 22 years old from the US :) I will arrive in London in September to begin my MSc in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene at Tropical Medicine. I am looking for a room from September 2024 to May 2025 (~8 months). I'm not really looking to spend over 1,200 pcm, but I'm open to change if it's a good fit!

As a flatmate I'm very tidy and I'd be happy to have a cleaning rotation to make sure our space is clean! I don't smoke and only drink on occasion. I enjoy a glass of something when going out with friends. I'm a lesbian and my girlfriend and I have been together for over 2 years (yay!). I'd love to have her over some weekends and of course your friends and partners should feel welcome in our shared space as well! I'd love for us to have open communication about expectations and make sure we all feel comfortable :) It would be great to be friends with my flatmates, but there's no pressure! I'm open to cooking for one another, movie nights, dinner parties, etc. if you're down. I will be busy with classes from 9-5 Mon-Fri, so I'll be out of your hair during business hours aside from stopping home for lunch occasionally.

A bit about myself is that I recently graduated with my BS in microbiology and I'm very much a nerd about infectious disease! I love to listen to political and mental health podcasts, reading historical fiction/non-fiction, playing games on my computer, baking for my friends, trying out new places to eat, binge watching a good show. I also have chronic pain, which has prompted me to get into swimming and going on walks. I'd love to try rock climbing as well since it's a great workout that's not too heavy impact! I'm a sucker for horror movies, ice cream, and I adore cats (pretty much all animals) so if you have pets that's more than okay with me!
