Private room in Brighton area

Hello --sorry this ad says I'm looking in 'Brighton area' only but I am much more flexible and can't figure out how to change that just now!

I am a 53 year old lady originally from the USA who lived in England for about 18 years before moving back to the USA for a few years after the global pandemic. I have a reference from the small studio flat in Brighton, in England, where I lived for 10 years.

I also really love reading, hiking, nature, plants and such! I don’t have much experience gardening but I would love to learn. I adore wildlife and birdsong, I even like insects. I also enjoy writing and art of all kinds. I would love to join you on some activities but also I would not impose myself as I also like alone time. I am strong and active and it would be my pleasure to help out with anything around the house. I also like dancing and took ballet for many years as a mature adult and would be happy to have someone join me in doing some very gentle ballet stretching, only if you are interested, just for fun and health/balance.

I work online as a college tutor and so I would need to set up my own internet connection there. I am wondering how you would feel about someone who works from home and is there all day, would that be OK/bother you?

I am clean and polite. I keep to myself a good bit but also enjoy a chat with a housemate. I have lived alone for much of my life so I respect others' privacy, as I value it myself. I also respect other people's confidentially and mind my own business. I don’t like gossip; I think I am a very live and let live person and not judgmental. I think I am also a caring and patient person, and I appreciate many different kinds of people. I don't have any pets and I do smoke but usually I do that outside and try to keep ashtrays cleaned out and keep the smell out.

I also love music of almost every kind and era (I'm not a huge fan of 'new country/ Nashville country but I love the older country stuff).

Sorry I have written loads but just wanted to introduce myself to give you a feel for what I'm like. We could meet via Zoom or Facetime if you use internet, or chat on the phone. Your place looks beautiful and peaceful from the photos!
