Looking for a calm, warm home /open to buddying up

Hi, I’m Saif. I’m currently based in East London and looking for a lovely room in a calm, well-kept home - ideally sharing with just one other person, though I’m also open to buddying up with someone like-minded to find a two-bed together.
I work for a charity as an Impact and Learning Manager and mostly work from home, apart from Tuesdays or when needed, so a comfortable home environment matters a lot to me. I’m clean, considerate, friendly and very respectful of shared spaces. I like a home that feels relaxed, warm and easy - sociable enough for the occasional meal, chat, film or drink, but also respectful of independence, quiet and personal space.
Outside work, I’m into arts and culture, music, open mics, talks, galleries, reading, the gym, cooking, and generally keeping curious and engaged with the city. I’m queer, easygoing, and looking for a household where kindness, maturity and mutual respect are the baseline.
Ideally looking for:
- A double room in a 2-bed flat/house
- Sharing with one other person, or buddying up
- Good transport links
- A clean, calm, homely space
- Move-in around 1st Jul onwards
- Budget around £1000
