Looking for a double room in East London!

Hello!

I'm Cat, a working professional in my mid-20s looking for a double room in a queer-friendly shared house from mid June, preferably around Hackney or Hampstead.

I've been travelling for the last couple of years and looking to move back to London to slow down, be closer to friends, and meet new people. I work remotely in mental health research and comms/events in contemplative science, with the occasional work trip abroad. I love all things creative, mindfulness-related and active/outdoorsy be it arts & crafts, galleries, jazz gigs, queer events, salsa, cinema, yoga, meditation, gardening, gym, learning languages etc.

I'm hoping to find what feels like a home that’s a super chill, clean, and grounding space (with tons of plants). I'd like to stay for long-term and get to know the people I'm living with. I'm not a big drinker or club-goer tbh but would love to host the occasional board game night, arty evening, or dinner party. I love social things and do enjoy a house party every now and then but would not be up for a very loud party party house, instead somewhere where we can socialise and spend time together but also enjoy alone time.

If possible, I'd love to move with two of my mum's (very sweet and affectionate) cats and so would prefer a pet-friendly house with a garden but without other pets, although this is proving challenging to find so am flexible on this.
