Final year PhD after room for a year (friendly)

I'm 26, a PhD in AI/chemistry/physics at Uni of Cam, going into my fourth and final year. Looking for a room somewhere central for a year, can be flexible on start but ideally would be moved in by the middle of October. I've been in Cambridge for nearly three years now, I'm from Newcastle and lived in London for four years before moving to Cambridge.

I treat the PhD like a job and I'm in the office (dept of Physics on the West Cambridge site) most days of the week. I occasionally work from home but no more than once a week usually. I'm in a couple of bands (rock/hip hop/jazz) so I'm out/away a fair amount for music as well, in Cambridge and further afield. Also out to swim semi regularly. Ideally looking for a room with enough space for a desk and some music equipment but not a be all and end all (I practice elsewhere and don't often make a lot of noise at home mind!) and relaxed housemates with some patter. Nearish to the station would also be great as I'm usually away to London a fair bit.

I'm clean and tidy, and happy to get involved. Also good at keeping to myself! Can also take guests to Caius formals to sweeten the deal.

I'm not in the city right now as my last let expired in August but close enough that I can get up for viewings at reasonably short notice. Keen to get something sorted for the start of Oct!
