Looking for a room in East/North London

Hey there,

I am looking for a double room. I have the flexibility to move-in during Sept 2025. Currently considering Walthamstow, Stoke Newington, Highbury & Islington, Angel. Preferably long term lease, but I'm open to short leases as well with the possibility of extension.

About me:
I live in Stoke Newington and I'm currently working as an environmental expert In Kensington. By training I am an environmental scientist.
Hobbies and interests include: health & fitness, nature, nutrition, cooking, music (anything from Velvet Underground to Aphex Twin) reading fiction, tv shows, yoga, mindfulness/meditation.
In my free time, I love to explore new coffee and breakfast places, new parks and nature spots. Since I am new to London, I have also been visiting quite a few exhibitions, art shows, museums, and I really love exploring different areas of London.
I'm usually out most of the days for work, gym, etc. and enjoy to have relaxed nights in, with the occasional night out. I'm an early bird so I like to be up early (7ish and doing my best not to wake others up) and go to bed around 10-11pm most nights. In terms of WFH, I do that 1-2 days a week as either way I prefer the office environment. I also cook pretty much regularly, especially dinner and enjoy trying out new recipes

I'm quite clean and tidy, and I'm especially considerate and respectful of common areas and make sure that they're always clean and ready to be used by others. I think I am very easy to get along with and I've gotten along with all my colleagues and roommates in the past.

Ideal roommate:
Honestly, just someone who is respectful and mindful that we are sharing a common space and making sure we respect that. If we have some of the same interests and can hangout from time to time, would be a great plus, but also definitely not a must. As long as we respect each other and are attentive of the common space we are sharing, we would get along great :)
