One night p/wk for Feb-26 needed - DBS checked

Hi Spare-Roomers,

I’m looking for a new place to stay for one night p/week through February 2026 as I will be spending 2 days, one night, in London.

I'm looking for someone who has a spare room which I can use on a weekly basis – once per week, sometimes two nights per week. There may be one week where I’ll not stay as I’ll be travelling with work or will be away - but would pay anyway.

My budget is around £50 per night (perhaps enough to cover the cost of your weekly cleaner), and would pay this via standing order even if not staying, as well as paying for any extra nights.

I am happy coming in from work quietly and keeping myself to myself, or for the more social hosts happy to spend time with you. Typically I get in between 9-10 pm, and am away by 06.30 in the morning. I’ve normally eaten before I get home, and shower at work. Ideally I can leave a change of clothes and washbag at your house.

About me - I'm early 40’s, and live in Nottingham, working in FinTech. My wife is Italian and my daughter is 10 and we have a cocker spaniel dog - so I’m used to hectic and busy households. I'm easy going, clean and tidy, I don’t drink and am a non-smoker, and will be quiet and polite. I am DBS checked as I am a Trustee of my local Scouts Group. I’m training for the London Marathon 2026.

I can provide a reference from my current hosts who, luckily for them are expecting a new member to their family, hence me looking for a new room.
