Music and Language Sabbatical in Glasgow

Hi, I’m an English language
(EAL) primary school teacher who has the good fortune to be on a sabbatical year away from the classroom. I’m planning a 6 month stay in Glasgow to work on my flute and whistle skills at the Glasgow Folk Workshop (GFW) and to make some progress on a book series that I’m writing aimed at children who are learning English. I’m a vegetarian and a non-smoker. I enjoy the outdoors, gardening and wildlife conservation work. I am married, have older children, and currently live and work in Germany; although we are currently considering a return to Scotland where my wife comes from. So, part of my stay will be about considering our possible relocation from Germany. I will need to practise my musical instruments but will do my best to find times of day that suit you. Apart from that, I’ll be working on my books, visiting various parts of Scotland, and keeping up with my German, Italian and (beginners) Gaelic. I am really looking forward to spending some more time in Glasgow.
