Description
Ciao! I’m Francesco, a 44-year-old musician working as a composer, producer, and teacher. I’m currently doing a PGCE at UCL to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music, which means I’m in that exciting (and slightly terrifying) phase of life where I’m trying to balance inspiration, deadlines, and rent — ideally not too high, so I can afford both pasta and the occasional cinema ticket! 😅
I’d love to find a home with people who appreciate good energy, meaningful connections, and mutual respect. I’m a calm, easy-going, and considerate flatmate who believes peace starts at home (and spreads to the world, one coffee shared at a time).
Music is my life, but don’t worry — unless you request a private concert, you’ll only hear the gentle tapping of my keyboard keys, as I always play with headphones. I’m thoughtful about noise and always mindful of shared space.
I’m usually out from morning to evening, and I’m home mostly in the evenings or weekends (unless I’m at a film, concert, or out with friends).
I find it a bit uncomfortable to promote myself, but I believe my previous flatmates particularly valued my empathy, good listening skills, and my dedication to keeping dessert stocked in the fridge! 😊 I’m clean, tidy (at least in the common areas) and I take my responsibilities seriously, especially when it comes to paying rent on time.
There are three things that are particularly important to me:
1️. I’d love to live in a place where people actually know each other, get along, and make an effort to build positive relationships, rather than just sharing a roof.
2️. The room should be spacious enough to fit my 2-metre-long workstation, so ideally it doesn’t already contain a desk, or at least one that can make a graceful exit.
3️. The flat needs to be clean — not obsessively, but with dishes washed and shared areas kept tidy.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll likely find me watching an obscure indie film, cooking Italian or Asian dishes (my current passion), cycling across London, or swimming off the week’s stress. I’d love a place with secure bike storage, if possible!
I’m open-minded about flatmates — shared interests are lovely, but I also enjoy discovering new ones. What matters most is living with kind, down-to-earth people who enjoy sharing a sense of ease and good humour at home.
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!
