Looking for friendly housemates!

I’m looking for a room in a friendly house share/flat around South Manchester. I want to be somewhere where people are polite and friendly - we don’t have to best mates but a chat in the kitchen would be nice every now and then!

I’m a creative producer, running my own arts organisation, but I also am a writer, performer, facilitator and gig promoter. I'm looking for housemates who are sound, open minded and respectful. To me that means being communicative, respecting peoples boundaries and spaces, and standing on the right side of things like politics - it should be a given that you are tolerant of other faiths, cultures, gender/sexualities, and experiences.

I am keen on gigs, promoting my own as well as getting out to see a lot of live and club music. I also love to cook a range of food from vegetarian/vegan curries to Mediterranean meat dishes, and I'm always up for sharing food if suits.

I've been in Manchester for about 5 years now, first as a student and since graduating I've been making my way into a career. As a result I have some great friends around the city who I see as much as I can, as well as a lovely partner with whom I spend a lot of time!
