Looking for a room in/around London

Hi, I’m Simon!

I’m a 36-year-old communications manager. Recently got a job in London so I’m on the lookout for a room in or around the city. I’m office based, work one day a week from home but can easily revert to full time in office if WFH is an issue. I’m hoping to find a quiet but sociable home with good connections to work and central London - so anywhere with easy access to Waterloo would be the most ideal.

I’m easy-going, friendly, and clean. I love cooking and eating out (so living with people that enjoy good food would be a plus!). I go to the gym fair bit or else I’m either out looking for my next favorite coffee shop. In my downtime, I enjoy killing time on the PS5 (fortnite mostly, for my sins) but I’d be keen to make some friends in the city to do things with.

I have a 4-year-old cat, Ariel. She’s confident, very friendly and loves attention but is very independent. Ideally, I’m looking for a place that would welcome both of us - and somewhere she can access outside from. However, moving to London for work is a priority as the commute is killing me, so I’m open to different options, even if that means having to give her up. But I really don’t want to have to give her up unless absolutely necessary.

While I enjoy being social, I also value my personal time and respect others' space. A tidy and clean environment is what’s most important to me. I’m chill but can’t live in a house where people leave dirty dishes lying about for days on end.
