Lauryn: 32, Female, Publishing at a Crossroads

Hi there,

My name is Lauryn, and I am sadly being evicted from my favourite home of all time in central London as my private landlady wants the flat back on 31 October. So, so sad but can understand why. I love every housemate I’ve shared this space with but I know the next place will bring more love/luck tenfold!

I do Marketing at one of the biggest publishing houses working on the most beautiful art, gift and music books- a dream come true. I work flexibly (3home:2office) and even more so these days due to some health investigations I’ve undergone this summer.

You might see that I’ve listed a wide number of locations and that is because I am getting the sixth sense I need a big change, a jump into a new phase. Happens every decade or so- it’s time to roll the dice!

I love reading for work and pleasure, spend my free time in nature, museums and exploring outdoors as much as possible. I love solo travel and often do so with my tattoo friends to various conventions around the world. My main focus this year has been to look after my body so party days are long gone, but nothing beats going to gigs and A cocktail with dinner.

Not looking for anything specific in terms of the room, but more on the dynamic between housemates. I go through phases of keeping myself to myself and other times I love watching movies or cooking dinner for my flatmates. Scorpio sun, Sagittarius moon!

I wash as I cook, deep cleaning twice a month calms the hell out of me, I can read your birth charts, practise Thai massage, recommend tattoo artist friends, suggest new books, and will offer whatever else I start obsessively studying next.

I am a smoker, but I would NEVER smoke indoors- a small terrace or out the front is fine. I LOVE dogs and children, and although I have a cat allergy I have a protocol and lived with cats many times- so don’t panic.

All locations listed are places I have lived before.
