Looking for a room :)

Hello!

I’m Hanna, and I’m 34. I came back from living abroad, am currently live with a relative and am really keen to move. I’m about to start a software development bootcamp, and was planning to move after finishing it (as it's fulltime, I won’t be able to work much/at all while I’m doing it) but if there were an opportunity to move sooner I would love to do so.

I'd love to live with pets, especially cats. I used to have one - I really miss having a cat. I would love to live with one again (and I’m a really good cat step-parent!). I currently work as a petsitter which slightly fills that gap, but living with one would be even better.

I originally trained as an orchestral musician on the French horn. I still play a bit so if I could take it out occasionally that would be amazing, but I don’t practise for hours a day and if that changed I’d look into hiring practise rooms out of the house, because it is very loud.

As a room mate, I’m friendly but pretty quiet. I think I'm pretty easy-going, flexible and considerate. I’ve lived in quite a few different places and I like getting to know people. I would love housemates who I can be a bit social with, but I definitely need rest and time to myself as well. I don’t usually drink or stay out late, definitely not a “party person” and I'm not a great cook, but I do cook. I'm pretty healthy and like to keep things clean.

I like a lot of things and love learning new ones. I don’t really do sports but I love climbing, walking, hiking, and mountains. I also like making things and playing with paints. I love playing board games. I don’t watch a lot of TV but I do like documentaries and like going to museums. I also enjoy reading. I also like modeling and have done some for friends’ art projects. I also dabble in video games and hope to learn to make one, one day.

What I’m looking for is definitely the unicorn of rooms – absolutely ideal would be somewhere where I would be able to play the horn, even if it's just for 10 minutes! I also need to be able to work from home – the bootcamp is fully remote, and afterwards I will be looking for hybrid or remote jobs.

And of course, housemates who I get along with!

NOTE: currently based in Buckinghamshire, viewings in London I can get to easily/immediately, Manchester will take a bit of planning
