Looking For A Cosy Room (From End Of Jan)

Hi everyone, how's it going? :)
I'm Laura, 33, looking for a cosy room in a flat/house share from end of Jan. 2025 approx. till the mid/end of May.

I'm a chill, respectful and tidy flatmate. I love to cook, don't smoke and can care for plants if someone is away for a few days. I don't mind pets in the house (love scratching/playing with cats and dogs every now and then). Ideally I'd love to live in a shared flat, house or community. I also enjoy concerts/jams and an occasional drink/cocktail in a bar as much as anyone.

I love films, music, reading, going to the theatre/ ballet/ to museums, have cultivated a slight coffee addiction, do yoga, go to the swimmingpool regularly, love hiking and prefer using bikes over public transport (almost) any time. I consider myself a feminst and like chatting about the world every once in a while - maybe with a cup of tea or a glass of wine.

I am looking for some chill & like-minded people to share a flat/house with, who are open to hang out a bit/ spend some time together every now and then and might want to show me around their favourite spots in/around the city. LGBTQIA* welcome, always!

I'm currently living in the city centre of Cologne, Germany. I will come to Cardiff to do a study exchange in the spring semester and to brush up on my language skills, obvsly. I understand a little Spanish as well, in case that's necessary.

Up until July, I worked as a teacher (mostly primary/middle school level), but for qualification matters, I now need to finish my degree. I work for a small charitable association that conducts workshops about mental health and I volunteer in a youth centre. I sometimes work at music festivals during the summer and am part of a culture & coffee collective that sells coffee for charitable purposes and organizes events in Cologne.
