Looking for a room in East London

Hi!

I'm David, 30 years old, looking for my next home as I am going to start working in Canary Wharf mid-January. Not really familiar with London but from a practical perspective anywhere in East London should work for me. I can either stay for couple of months or a couple years depending on the availability of the room.

Apart from that I am a very easy person, quite calm yet active. I've been sharing flats and houses for the last 4 years and am looking to do the same in London (but with time and age I appreciated the confort of a private bathroom). I'm also very clean and tiddy.

I am currently living in Toulouse, France, working at Airbus, living in a shared house with people my age. It's all going perfectly so why would I change my life you'd ask... I visited a friend in London last year and thought that's a place I want to live in ... and long story short, eventually I got enough luck to get hired by JP and thought I take it!

My hobbies are quite simple: I play football once a week with colleagues, I go to the pub once or twice a week with my friends, I love skiing and hiking in my home country mountains and I plan to keep doing it and travel there about every other month while in London. Other than that I'm also reading books mainly on history. But the main thing about myself I guess is that I change hobbies regularly.

I will physically arrive in London around mid-January but I can take out the room from early January and pay in advance if it makes things easier.

One last thing I'll try to cycle to work so great if there is a possibility to store a bike (just dropping that here so I can remember to ask you).
