Accommodation hunt for January 2025 in Edinburgh

Hey all!

My name is Shannan and I am an Irish 27 year old professional gal.

I am moving from Ireland to Edinburgh mid-end January 2025, so I’m starting my search for the perfect home.

About me: I would love to move to a friendly, homely space with female roommates. As I am moving on my own, it would be great to make some friends along the way. I work in data privacy, and while I would prefer to work on site, there may be some days I may need to work from home. I love going to the gym, tattoos (former body piercer), all things fantasy and reading (I’m currently writing a novel), as well as live music, exploring the arts and a few pints of Guinness on the weekend! I’d love to live with pets, as I’m sure I’m going to miss mine quite a bit. I’m a clean, tidy individual but not strict on schedules as we are all adults with busy lives. I’m also pansexual, so LGBT friendly people are necessary.

The home: I am open to any areas of Edinburgh as quite frankly I’m not too familiar with the best areas to live, but preferably somewhere with good transport options and max 15-20 minutes to the city centre, but the closer the better as I am not immediately bringing my car over with me. My move date is 25 January but can be flexible with this time. My budget is 900 a month including tax but again, this could be flexible for the right place. Term length, the longer the better as I’d love to get settled, but minimum 6 months would also work. Female/non-binary roommates only please.
