Description
NOTE: Although I could be somewhat flexible, I am looking to move-in in early January, not immediately. Thanks!
Hi there,
I'm Nik. After 17 years in London, I took a break this year. I am now looking to come back for a while as I miss London too much and have a specific project that requires me to be there.
I have lots of experience in flatshares and get along well with others. People usually say I’m easy going and fun to live with. I like keeping things tidy and always clean up after myself.
My values are progressive and social, and I’d describe myself as open-minded. I love nature and being outdoors. I also have a philosophy degree and enjoy deep conversations when they come up.
I'll be working half the time outside the flat and half the time from home on my laptop. I have a steady income from my work as a music producer, audio engineer, and audio consultant, and I also teach music production at the master’s level.
I’m a dedicated yoga enthusiast and usually practice 4–6 times a week, so if the accommodation allows for this you might see me on the mat regularly! I usually go to classes, but I also like to start the day with a short prac.
I’m open to living with younger people too - young energy charges me. While I’m sociable and outgoing, and I enjoy shared dinners, brunches, or movie nights, parties, etc. I respect others' private space and know that life in London is busy.
Having a shared living room or at least a large kitchen with a dining space would be ideal.
A place to keep my bike would be a nice bonus, and a garden would be amazing!
For now, I’m looking for a short let from mid-January to mid-April, though I’m open to extending up to six months. I can be flexible with move-in/move-out dates, possibly as early as mid-December and as late as June if that works out.
Depending on the circumstances I may be interested in extending my stay.
My work takes me to Queens Park/Kilburn, and I tend to go out in Hackney/Shoreditch, so a location that’s bike-accessible to those areas would be perfect, but not a deal breaker.
Cheers,
Nik
