Easygoing & Friendly Flatmate

Hi there! I'm 33yo from Australia. I've been living in Leith/Meadowbank the last year but have just received notice to leave my flat, so am looking for a new room from late January/early February. Before moving to Edinburgh, I was living in Spain, learning Spanish and travelling. I work full-time in Leith working in sustainability consulting and so am looking for a flat that's close to/well-connected with Leith Shore, where I can share a comfortable living space with 1-2 other people.

A bit about me: I’m easygoing, tidy, LGBTQ+ friendly and enjoy the balance of socialising and respecting space and quiet time when needed. I've lived both alone and in flatshares with 1-3 other people and am equally happy in both environments, but I do prefer to find friendship in my housemates, so would like to find somewhere with a bit of life and love among the shared spaces.

I'm typically in the office 9-5 Mon-Thurs and working from home on Fridays, and try to keep a good work/life balance.

A few things I like to do in my spare time: travel, dancing (currently salsa & bachata), cooking, being outdoors and going to live music, museums, comedy, theatre, etc and trying new bars and restuarants. I'm mostly past the phase of big nights out, but I still enjoy the occasional night out or a chilled evening with a glass of wine at home.

In unfortunate timing, I'll be in Australia visiting family during December and January so am unable to do inspections in person until late January, but am available for virtual inspections or to chat in the meantime.
